Despite its name, it's not an advanced flight model, it's an alternative flight model.

The common conception is that the default flight model is more realistic. Though, there's no real satisfaction over both available flight models. The default flight model has better realistic performance at higher speeds, the other flight model has better performance on "side slipping".

Basically the advanced flight model is a never finished concept model.

Enable alternative flight model

  1. open eech.ini
  2. look for parameter advancedfm
  3. set its value to 1
