About Dr Kiran Peddi -
Dr. Kiran Peddi was born in a small town referred to as Jagtial in Karimnagar district the place he spent his adolescence. His father was working as a senior government in then called APSEB, and worked in Warangal district more typically than not. Dr Kiran’s major education was in a small school in Hanamkonda and moved to in style St Gabriel’s High school in Kazipet for middle and better education. Though studied in Telugu medium, he had splendid academic record at school. From this tender age, his mother and father at all times needed him to become a popular physician via benefit seat and he had clear mindset of reaching the same.
He moved to affix Vignan Residential school Vadlamudi, Guntur for intermediate education. Changing from Telugu to English medium with a objective of getting medical seat in merit was a humongous activity for him. With an unremitting dedication and onerous work, he broke all the academic records of the faculty at that time. His perseverance paid nicely and he secured 131 rank in EAMCET in first try and scored 585 rank in all India CBSE PMT entrance.
Medical Education:
He joined prestigious Osmania Medical College however quickly modified his thoughts and by mutual switch, moved to Kakatiya Medical school Warangal to stay with his dad and mom. He always wished to create a singular career for himself and started exploring various avenues. PLAB was a gorgeous option with promising career in UK however fairly daunting due to lack of information and heavy costs concerned for a middle class family. He was always passionate about medical education in UK and says “ All the favored medical books the world over are written by UK medical doctors and all the scientific methods are established by them”. He along with couple of his associates determined to discover further training in UK and landed there without much of knowledge on the method to take the exams. It proved to be an adventurous try in 1997 and all of the group didn't clear PLAB. Though it was proving to be very costly, he learnt how to prepare for the examination and soon cleared it in second try.
Journey to turn out to be a Postgraduate, a Super specialist and then a sub specialist:
After clearing PLAB, career in UK was no simple in these days. He had to apply for 550 positions before lastly getting a medical SHO rotation in Colchester General Hospital. During this tenure, he turned favourite disciple for so much of consultants. He cleared all components of prestigious MRCP exam in first attempt and began his journey in the direction of becoming a Super specialist.
He secured a robust 5 years Specialist Registrar coaching program in Gastroenterology in Manchester Deanery and obtained CCT In Gastroenterology and General Medicine which is the best potential qualification one can achieve in any given speciality in UK. He was offered a lucrative consultant submit but his dream was at all times to return again and serve personal country. To gain further expertise, he moved to Fremantle Hospital in Western Australia and completed one year of Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy and IBD and thus turned a sub specialist in that space. He finally moved to Hyderabad in 2010..
