Aktive-med rehabilitation is the first of its kind chain of advanced physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinics in India. The active rehab sessions are designed to help people recover from injury in a safe, effective and fun way. During an active rehabilitation session, you will be working with a registered kinesiologist who is trained to address musculoskeletal injuries and impairments. In general, the kinesiologist will start with a warm up and then guide you through exercises that are specifically targeted to your injury. These may include exercise, stretches and passive rehabilitation treatments such as electrical stimulation.

This type of rehabilitation focuses on strengthening, flexibility and movement pattern corrections. This is different from regular physiotherapy which involves passive treatments and massages. Kinesiologists are experts at assessing movement patterns and can identify the root cause of your pain or injury. They are also equipped to work with you to create an individualized exercise program that will help you improve your injury and prevent future injuries.
